Through a partnership with IEEE-Smart Village, Rotary Club International, Global Telehealth
Network, VSEE and Healthcare Alliance For An Equitable World, we will equip and connect 2
hospitals in Kenya and Uganda to 5 rural clinics and 2 schools with telehealth technology. We
will also support and augment their healthcare workforce with our emergency medicine, medical
and surgical specialist teams, available for 24/7 telehealth consultations.
We have done all the collaboration, preparations and planning. We need YOUR help to get us to the last step, to implement and launch in April 2024! Please support us by donating, volunteering and sharing our project with your network! Together, we can revolutionize healthcare worldwide.
At Healthcare Alliance for an Equitable World (HAEW), we believe that quality healthcare shouldn't be dependent on one’s nationality, social status, economic status, or geographic location.
To promote global equity and decrease suffering through healthcare available to all people, in all places across the globe. By sharing resources and embracing global telehealth technology, we connect medical experts to rural, and underserved regions that lack a robust medical infrastructure. To provide expert medical care that supports the health, dignity and potential of all people and create a future where all people have access to a life of opportunity.
The team at HAEW prides itself on offering the highest quality medical care, no matter the distance. We are providing expert guidance, including 24/7 telehealth care, consultations, and training from a wide array of specialty trained clinicians through synchronous telephone and video.
The HAEW team we are building encompasses a wide variety of medical specialists, who will be on a schedule grid that will allow us to provide consultations in an emergency 24 hours/day.
"HAEW has addressed the shortage of physicians in the underserved areas. By partnering with VSee, HAEW has made telemedicine accessible globally, bringing essential medical care to those who need it most."
"Many of our patients cannot visit a hospital or clinic due to time and financial constraints, or because the clinic is too far away. Virtual consultations that take less than 15 minutes have significantly helped these patients, ensuring they receive much-needed medical attention. Dr. Tranquada's expertise has been invaluable to our project. She consistently ensures she understands our patients' demographics and needs prior, provides insightful feedback and recommendations, and excels at recruiting the right volunteer doctors. Her commitment has significantly enhanced the quality and effectiveness of our efforts."
"Working with Healthcare Alliance for an Equitable World has been a truly amazing experience! It provides me with an opportunity to help treat patients all over the world."
"I saw a young boy in the Philippines who had a minor mechanism fall after climbing up a banana tree. After examining him via telemedicine, I was able to reassure the patient and the family, and they were so genuinely thankful and appreciative of their care. I also saw patients with interesting infectious diseases I would never have encountered in my usual emergency medicine practice here in the US. The mission is clear and so obvious: why don’t we have equitable health care all over the world when we have the technology to do so with tele medicine?"
"Be a part of the solution. It’s a truly rewarding and soul-fulfilling service to humanity worldwide that satisfies that yearning to just simply help people! It’s truly an honor to be a part of something bigger with such a great cause and very little time commitment! See for yourself!"
